Pastoral Care

The housebound
As committed Christians, we all share responsibility for the pastoral care of the housebound.  For those who cannot get to church and wish to receive Holy Communion, a dedicated team of Eucharistic Ministers will visit on request. Arrangements can also be made for members of the St Vincent de Paul Society and the Legion of Mary.

Residents in care homes
The pastoral and spiritual well-being of the residents of the care homes in our parishes is carried out by our Eucharistic Ministers.  Fellingate Care Centre is looked after by the Sisters of Divine Love who are resident in St Wilfrid’s Church, Gateshead.

Our priest is always ready to respond to requests for the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Anointing of the Sick.

Mass intentions
Masses can be requested for any intentions you may have.  Envelopes containing an offering should be clearly marked with the intention for the Mass and left in the Sacristy, or given to the Priest.
